Happy New Year!!!!

Hello again and Happy New Year to all!

If you've had the opportunity to holiday over this great season of sharing I hope it has been both relaxing and refreshing for you. Now is the time for new ideas, new energy and hopefully many good surprises!

I don't know about you but I'm not into making resolutions. I have  always found they die off before they are even implemented. So I tend to be more general with my ideas for the new year. I leave myself a little wiggle room or perhaps alot of wiggle room! No need to set myself up for failure during the first month of a new year!

My first week of the year has found me potting at my wheel, going through my sketch books for ideas and searching the web for new marketing opportunities. Planning is super important when it comes to good business but I haven't always thought of myself as a great planner! So, it's going to be challenging. I just hope I am up to the challenge!

One of the challenges will start with finding a place for an online store. There are so many outlets to choose from but the little knowledge I have, I'm afraid is not going to be sufficient. There is Etsy, Shopify, Volution and Big Cartel, just to name a few. If anyone out there has had any experience with one of these or the others I would love to hear about it. It always helps to solicite the help of friends and collegues. I am hoping that by the end of January I will have started setting up that online store so that some or all my products will be available to be viewed and bought from cyberspace. Hopefully in time for the wedding season!

Anyway, I should not give away all my plans for the coming month or two. Remember that wiggle room I spoke about earlier!

Hope you have a great start to your new year! Hopefully there will be good surprises for us all.http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/profile.php?id=790128951

  1. Hi Libby Old Friend,
I love your work, especially the Daisy bowls. They are so colourful and cheerful. You should put more pictures of your work on here. I love seeing what you make.
I do not sell anything myself but I do alot of crafts and have alot of friends who do arts and crafts and from what I have heard ETSY is the site to use. I actually have never heard of the other ones but I have been using ETSY for several years.
I hope this helps. So is Matthew Dougs boy? Getting married...wow, they grow old fast dont they. I saw the pic of Doug's old corvette and remember riding in it. Wow the memories a picture brings back.
Good Luck with the online store.
Its great to be able to keep up with you
here and on FB. I have lots of great memories of us together.
    *HUGS*
