Back from vacation and back to work

Had a great camping vacation on Ile d'Orleans just a short drive from Quebec city. This petite island is beautiful, with quaint villages that you can explore by foot. My husband and I camped at a great park right on the water. We spent time relaxing in our lounge chairs, watching boats pass by and wating for the wake made by the freighters.
I can't be within a half hour drive from Quebec city and not go!!!  Vieux Quebec the old city, is about a 45 minute drive. If you have never been there and it is accessible to you, it's a place you have to visit. During our five day stay we visited 4 times. We shopped and shopped some more, ate and ate some more, and went on a romantic caleche ride!!
When I was a teenager I spent time studying French at Laval University in Ste. Foy which is a neighbouring city. Ever since then, Quebec city has been my favorite place to visit. It became part of our honeymoon plans 25 years ago and this summer it was one of our anniversary distinations!
Now it's time to get back to work. HOpefully I will have some new pictures to put up soon. In the meantime here are a few pictures from our visit.
