August exhibit at the Newfoundland Craft Council Annex Gallery

Hope you are having a great summer, enjoying doing the things that summer calls you to do. So far I have had great opportunities to enjoy camping, swimming, bike riding, campfires, roasted marshmallows just to name a few. As well I am enjoying experimenting with new techniques on my clay work.

If you haven't been affected by the postal strike earlier this summer, congratulations! I've got to say that I was not a happy camper as a couple of pieces I had sent as submissions to an exhibition didn't arrive in time to be included in the show. But with that said, I was not the only one. Fortunately, the craft council decided to exhibit some of those late arrival pieces in the Annex Gallery in August. This I was happy to hear!

So if you are lucky enough to be in St. John's in August, hop on down to the Gallery at Devon House on Duckworth St. and take a look in the gallery. AND don't forget to visit the shop on the first floor while you are there.
